APPOINTMENTS 

Same- Day Sick Appointments
Union Mill Pediatrics located in Fairfax County offers same-day sick appointments for urgent medical concerns such as fevers, ear infections, diarrhea, nausea, asthma, allergic reactions and other symptoms lasting less than seven days. We do our best to see every sick child who needs a same-day appointment, but if you call after 3:30PM, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Symptoms Lasting More Than 7 Days and Consultations
Please contact our triage line to schedule an appointment if symptoms have been lasting more than 7 days or for a consultation.  We will be happy to make that appointment, call Union Mill Pediatrics at 703-802-6304 and choose the triage line option #2.

In most cases you will be asked to leave a message requesting the patients name, birth date, description of the problem and a phone # where you can be reached.  This will allow us to pull your child’s file and be ready to assist you.

WELL CHILD CHECK UPS

To schedule, please call our main number by 703-802-6304 option #0.  See our Child Well visit and Immunization Schedule .

We understand occasional circumstances prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. If possible, please notify our office in advance if you are running late or unable to make your appointment. Our scheduling coordinators will do their best to re-schedule the appointment promptly to a better day for your schedule. 

If you arrive late to your scheduled appointment, due to the doctor's schedule, you may need to be scheduled on another day. 

PRENATAL VISITS

Union Mill Pediatrics would be honored to be considered as your pediatrician. Our “Meet and Greets” are complimentary one-on-one meetings with a physician to visit our office and have your questions answered.  Use our “ On-line Appointment Request ” or call our front desk at 703-802-6304 option #0 to schedule.  These appointments are scheduled at 7:30 am Wednesday-Friday.

MEDICATION REFILLS

Call our main number 703-802-6304 option #4.  Be prepared to leave the following: patient name, date of birth, cell number, name of the medication, the strength, the dosing schedule and the pharmacy name, address and phone number. Please allow our office 3-5 business days for prescription refills. For immediate medication refill prescriptions our practice charges $25.00.  

REFERRALS

Union Mill Pediatrics will be glad to help you with your referral. To process your referral most efficiently please complete the referral form found under the form tab.  Referrals require 5 business days to be processed. If it is an urgent referral please complete the form and contact the front desk to bring the matter to our attention. A $25 fee is charged for all referrals requested with less than 5 business days notice, unless previously ordered stat or urgent by our doctors. In order to receive a referral, patients are required to have a well check within the last 12 months and have been seen for the issue requiring a specialist. It is the responsibility of the policy holder to understand their insurance and to know if a referral is required and to obtain the referral prior to such services being rendered by the specialist.
